About me

Hello, my name is Katie Madigan and this year is my fourth year as a member of the North Pointe staff and my first year as the Editor-in-Chief. Journalism is one of my biggest passions and I enjoy being able to express my creativity both in my stories and on each page design. As a student journalist, I hope to highlight the diversity of the North community and report on pressing issues. When I’m not in the journalism classroom, I participate in many extracurricular activities. I take pride in being a member of varsity cross country and track teams, Peer-to-Peer, Kids Need Opportunities To Socialize, Fashion Club and Model United Nations. However, outside of school, I also enjoy listening to music, playing the electric guitar, and creating fashion lookbooks for social media.
